For the second half of the sampling project I chose to introduce the words construct: deconstruct in an effort to add more concept to the project, something felt the last part lacked.  I decided to focus to the construction and deconstruction of life, expressing this concept through the life cycle of a butterfly. This allowed me to be able to continue working with the same body of visual research and allow me to develop my ideas based on the structures and colours of butterflies. My chosen workshop of knit allowed me to work with constructing material to work with, something I greatly enjoyed as it gave me a connection to the fabric as well as allowing me to conentrate on the colour i was working with . I also gained a wide range of techniques through my knit workshop, giving me a great choice when focusing on creating structure. Knit also helped me to understand that I want to take my work into fashion direction, which is something that find very exciting.
